11 percent commission is not a business model. It is a surrender.

11 percent commission is not a business model. It is a surrender.

Travel agencies are getting a tempting offer right now. Pass the client on, hand off planning, booking and liability, collect the commission. No effort, no risk.

That is path A. It works. That is exactly why it is dangerous.

Hand off your planning, and you no longer sell trips. You broker clients. Your brand still hangs in the window; the expertise sits somewhere else.

I have led ten acquisitions. What gets paid for in the end is never the revenue you pass on. It is the structure you own: purchasing, pricing, the client relationship. At the same revenue, a commission agency is worth significantly less.

Path B: buy directly from the DMC — the destination management company on the ground — do your own pricing, keep the full margin.

The argument against it was always the effort. Documents in the local language, coordination across time zones, every trip its own project.

Voyager AI takes that effort out. DMC documents are translated automatically and transferred into the agency's corporate design. Inquiries and traveler support run through the app, around the clock. The agency stays the tour operator under its own brand, without a bigger team.

We prove it where it is hardest: in Central Asia. Local partners, foreign languages, hardly any standard products. Voyager has been running live there since July. What works in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan works anywhere.

In five years there will be two kinds of travel agencies: the ones that make trips, and the ones that pass them on.

Only the first kind gets bought.
